Book Giving

The book-giving program is essential to help our organisation function and is the core of what we do. There are homes across Melbourne where children do not own a book and the purpose of this program is to make sure every child has a book to call their own. We give the gift of a backpack containing age appropriate books for each child and distribute the books to community centres and pre-schools. We give new and pre-loved children’s books directly to young and eager readers. Corporate partners, community groups and individuals donate the books.

In the next 12 months our goal is to give 20,000 books to the community and by initiating a book drive or donating to this program you can get involved too and help us achieve this goal.
